An emotional piece for me, this was painted during
a bitter fight with my parents when I was a
teenager. I take pride in the fact that save for the
handprint and blood drop, this painting was done in
darkness. I had only the nightlight that was able to
creep through my blinds to guide me on my color
choice and placement.
